Past days
The spirit of the band rises from long-lasting friendships, several common projects and there-is-nothing-else-to-do-attitude. Three band members have grown up in same strange rural environment which can been called as a final frontier. Their youth was filled with cars, bikes, babes and Rock'n'Roll. All band members were familiar to each other before The Pushrods found it's own identity as a Rockband in late spring 1998. Some flashes from band's and its members' history can be seen in bands D-Day, The Bonehills, Piski, Anglia, Swellheads...

Showtime
Gigs are always some kind of occasions. There have been and will be several gigs whenever circumstances are suitable for  Pushrods. 
 

June 1999
The Pushrods plays at the Tavastia club, Helsinki. Radio Mafia broadcasts it live. Their debut single ”Deuce of clubs” is out too. 

August 1999
There is no more recordlabel the Pushrods has a deal with. The Pushrods are planning new tricks anyway. They make more music. They play louder. Somehow mighty Electric Frankenstein hear their music and they make one gig together at Gloria, Helsinki.

February 2000
Somewhere in Vinland. Pushrods are drinkin´ after a great gig. There weren`t lots of people to listen. But anyway guys are pretty satisfied to their rawk`n`roll show. They are talkin´ about their future as a band... ”Electric Frankensteins´ splitsingle with us should come out soon.” Thinks TT, the almighty bassplayer. ”So should their R´n´R compilation” reply Papa. Papa seems to be satisfied with his Gibson. Tonight he didn´t lose any strings. ”Hey, was it Bad Luck Charm, they put on it?” ”Yeah.” Suddenly Kreivi cries: ”Hey guys. Let´s drink for that!” ”Allrrrightt!” 
”What ? ” says Cindy, the best damn guitarplayer I´ve ever heard. ”My ears are whinin`” He complains. The drummer, Karssu laughs.
Next morning they don´t feel allright at all...
Sadly. There is an another gig on that night too.
